10 Best Phoenix Coffee Shops in the Northwest Valley
Looking for the best Phoenix coffee shops? We’ve got our list of the 10 best Phoenix coffee shops in the Northwest Valley! The list for the top cafes in the Valley would be way too long for just one list!
Check out these coffee shops and let us know which one is your favorite!
1. Elevate Coffee
I absolutely love Elevate Coffee at Norterra! Their caramel macchiato is absolutely my favorite, but they have great teas and seasonal menus. This coffee shop is huge but is always packed! They have a meeting room that you can rent for meetings or small events as well. If you’re over in North Phoenix near the Shops at Norterra, make sure to stop by and grab a drink or some food from Elevate!

2. Well Coffee Co
Well Coffee Co is a new Peoria, AZ coffee shop located on the campus of Copper Hills Church. This coffee shop is the perfect addition and everything North Peoria has been craving! I don’t know about you, but I’m a sucker for great latte art. If you’re in North Peoria, you should definitely stop by for a Honey Lavender Latte. Or, if you want to go with your regular the vanilla latte is great too.
It’s also right next to WestWing park too, so Phoenix moms, this is the perfect stop to get your caffeine hit for a park date with the kids.

3. Union Coffee
I FINALLY went to Union Coffee Company and was not disappointed. The barista was super friendly and my iced coffee was amazing! I loved the design of the coffee shop and how beautiful and bright it was inside. I met with a local business friend here and I’ll definitely be back for some coffee shop work dates. It definitely earned its place on the best Phoenix coffee shops in the Northwest Valley.

4. Cabin Coffee
Cabin Coffee is up at 67th Ave & Happy Valley. Their menu has a ton of options and everything is so good! This Glendale coffee shop is so cute. And it’s theme is just like the name. It feels like a cozy cabin inside! If you’re up in north Glendale you should definitely head over to Cabin Coffee Cafe and grab some food and a drink. Make sure to check out their house menu for your coffee and tea selections.

5. Driftwood Coffee
This coffee shop in Old Town Peoria is awesome! I love that this coffee shop was made FOR community. The interior has some great art and of course the coffee is amazing. I can’t remember which drink but I ordered an iced latte which was a Driftwood special and it was so good! You’ll definitely want to check out their social pages to see what community events they have going on.

6. Sunsational Coffee
Although I haven’t personally visited this Surprise coffee shop yet, it came highly recommended. Surprise, AZ doesn’t have a ton of non chain coffee shops right now, so next time I’ve over there I’m definitely going to be giving this coffee shop a visit. I’ve heard that their baked goods are TO. DIE. FOR. I’m gluten free though, so if you stop by, grab one for me! 😉

7. The Village Coffee Shop
Okay, so The Village Coffee Shop & Creperie is located in Cave Creek which may be a bit farther away from the rest of the Phoenix coffee shops on this list. Let me just say, this one is worth the drive! If you want an iced coffee as big as your head…or the best crepes ever, you have to visit this coffee shop. It’s located in the cutest Western themed shopping plaza and everything I’ve had on their menu was so good!

8. Amped Coffee
I haven’t been to this Anthem coffee shop yet, but again, this is on the list for the best Phoenix coffee shops because of the amazing experience they provide. Not only do they have coffee and food, but they also have beer, wine, and music performances. I would love to do a networking moms wine night here! I think it’s awesome that they have music performances too. Let me know if you’re heading to this North Phoenix coffee shop and bar. Or, if you want to meet up, let’s go together. 🙂

9. Small Town Coffee House
If you didn’t know about this Glendale coffee shop, you’d probably miss it. The staff is so sweet and there’s sure to be a ton of Midwestern medical students studying here since it’s located right across 59th avenue. Small Town coffee has some great teas and red Bull mixed energy drinks too. If you haven’t been here, grab a drink and then walk around the beautiful shopping plaza!
